We’re on Day 5 in the 10 days of Free Preschool Lesson Plans series and I just wrapped up four weeks worth of free lesson plans about the seasons.
What better direction to next next than weather?
It can easily follow up the seasons as you explore different types of weather and learn what causes the weather. The experiments in this week’s plans are super hands on and some of my favorite activities yet!

Books about Weather for Preschoolers
There are lots of fun little books in this week’s lesson plan. One of my favorites is of course the Eric Carle book, Little Cloud.

Weather Crafts for Preschoolers
This sweet little craft also makes the perfect spring decor!
This is a great hands on activity to help students learn the difference between clouds.
How cute is this little sun? It actually didn’t come linked to a post that I could find but it would be super easily to recreate with yellow and orange construction paper, a paper plate and some glue!This craft looks both a little scary and a lot of awesome! Using an eye dropper and food coloring to create raindrops is a fun and great fine motor practice!
