Who doesn’t love the letter C?! Cookies, cake, caffeine…
Like half of my favorite things in the world start with the letter C!
This week we will be looking at the letter C with your preschooler. Hopefully they have done well with the last few week’s activities and you are ready to go full steam ahead.

Don’t forget to review these daily. This week’s card should be practiced like this “C-cookie-/c/.” You can also start to incorporate the activities from the first page of the flashcards as well.

We had 3 of these books at home already. Two (Corduroy and The Hungry Catterpillar) which much loved books from mine and my husband’s childhood. Most of the others are at our local library, but I have provided the Amazon links for you in case. Remember, you can score them dirt cheap buying used of Amazon.

Crafts
We love Eric Carle around here! One my favorite baby shower gifts was a signed copy of The Hungry Caterpillar from my bestie! My oldest literally memorized the book by the time she was 3.
So this cute caterpillar was one of our favorite crafts this week. You can grab my template here or by clicking on the pic. Just cut out, paste on, add some eyes and legs and you’ve got your own cute caterpillar creation!

Staring up at puffy clouds on a breezy day is a favorite spring pastime time of ours. This sweet little cloud craft reminded us of something to look fowards to after these drab winter days!

We’ve got house full of little cookie monsters, so of course this C for cookie craft was a hit! To incorporate a little math I had her add a certain number of chocolate chips on each cookie.

These cookies didn’t come out quite as cute as the picture. In retrospect these bad boys should’ve been two much thinner batches. But even as a blob, these letter C cookies were delicious!
