So we’ve already established I’m dog crazy right?
My two pups are literally just fur covered kids in my eyes.
So when the baby turned one, I knew throwing a dog birthday party for her absolutely had to happen.

Honey Bunches
I mean look at that face. She’s the cutest, right?
We adopted Honey from a local rescue last summer. When I saw her picture on Facebook, I knew she was ours. It took quite a bit of begging and pleading, but my husband finally willingly accepted her into the pack.
She was predicted to be about 50 pounds full grown. However, she had other ideas, and hasn’t stopped growing yet, last weighing in at 70 pounds. She’s built of sheer muscle and inertia.
She’s different from any of the other dogs we’ve had. She’s extremely fiesty and full of energy and so, so funny!! I’ve never seen such a canine comedian in all my life. Case in point, check out her birthday portrait. Have you ever seen such an adorably goofy grin?
That super sweet dog bandana came from DashingDog Company on Etsy. I loved the details on this one! From the perfectly placed polka dots to the fringe detail, this bandana was easily the cutest on Etsy.
She offers a ton of different and customizable options. There’s an adorable floral bandana I’ve got my eye on next.
Our Lilly girl also had a birthday and recently turned five! She had to pose for a shot in the birthday bandana also.
Alot of the party inspiration came from the little cake smash set up I did for her a few years ago. This time, I added a few extra fun details, like this banner!
It’s my Barkday Party! Throwing a Dog Birthday Party
Of course I had to do another chalkboard print to compaire the two pups to each other. Here’s the one I created for Honey. It showcases her personality perfectly.
On the list of likes, I forgot to add chasing bubbles. She lives to jump around and pop them with her mouth. It’s seriously the cutest thing ever!
My daughter also made a birthday cake all by herself using this recipe. We decorated it with some extra treats and a pet cookie from PetSmart.
It didn’t turn out quite as fluffy as the pictures but the girls both loved it! They quickly devoured the whole thing and looked to use for more treats.
Speaking of treats, this adorable dog charcuterie board, was one of my favorite things from the whole party! It came from Acacia Creative Goods on Etsy.
It came with the treats pictured, but I added some more for the shoot, attempting my second charcuterie board of the year. The end result may not have looked like a masterpiece, but I don’t think my dogs could’ve been more thrilled!
She’s got a ton of other adorable creative wooden gifts in the store, so be sure to check her out. You won’t regret it! The attention to detail in her work is incredible!
My sweet spoiled pups ended the day with a belly full of treats and a long nap. They really are the goodest girls!
