Todays free lesson plan doesn’t need much of an introduction.
I mean what kid doesn’t love dinosaurs?
Kids love learning about the time before they existed and they are generally even more fascinated by a time before anyone existed.
Dinosaurs are big, loud, wild and fierce. Kind of like a young child. Hhhmmm….Think there’s a connection to be made there?

Books about Dinosaurs for Preschoolers
There are so many cute children’s books about Dinosaurs! I could spend weeks just reading dinosaur themed books! The How do Dinosaurs series of books are also amazing to help discuss social skills and character traits! We have several of them!
Time Flies is an amazing book. It’s great to teach, or remind, young readers the importance of using picture clues. There are no words in the book, only amazing illustrations. I love to use wordless books as a creative activity where we make up the story as we read!
Don’t forget to check out Amazon! I saw some great prices on some of these titles used!
