I love decorating for seasons & holidays. Something about the simple out of setting out decorations makes me feel all sorts of festive. And despite summer being my bestie, fall quickly grows on me.
After I got my Silhouette a couple of years ago, I also developed an obsession with seasonal crafting. I love making cute decorations, gifts and clothes. Today’s DIY Halloween soap is actually part of a teacher gift I made. You can view it here. I had so much fun with this set of soap and sanitizer bottles, I also made a set for our guest bath!
Best of all, these cuties take maybe 5 minutes to whip up and I’m sharing my design with you!
You can grab my SVG here or by clicking on the image below. These designs are for personal use only.
You will need:
- soap bottle
- hand sanitizer bottle
- rubbing alcohol
- paper towel or cloth

Step 1: Clean the surface of the bottle
The first thing you’ll need to do is peel back the label off the bottle. There will be sticky residue left behind, so you’ll need to take a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol and scrub until the surface is smooth.
Step 2: Open design and re-size
You will then need to open the design and resize it. I measured both my bottles and then subtracted about a half inch all the way around.
Step 3: Cut and apply
You will then want to separate by color to cut. I just pulled out all the white and cut the black together – which was most of the design. I then cut the white vinyl and then applied the vinyl with my transfer tape – section by section.
Step 4: Add a ribbon & Voila!
You’ve got yourself some A-DOR-ABLE Halloween bottles that will brighten up any bathroom or make the perfect gifts. Like I said, they fit in perfectly with my teacher Halloween gifts this year and we’re loving them at home also! Better yet, We can refill these year after year and use them over and over!
