Fun & Easy Christmas gift ideas for 2 year olds

My baby is 2 this year, so I’ve begun my search for the perfect Christmas gift ideas for her.

It is a lot harder for her than with my oldest.   We already have so much of the typical 2 year old stuff so this year, I’m having to look a little harder.

And my extra research is paying of for both of us!  As a result, I’ve created this pretty comprehensive list of Christmas gift ideas for 2 year olds.  Hopefully it will make both mine and your Christmas shopping much easier!

Christmas Gift Ideas for 1 year olds

Santa’s on his way, and Mommy and Daddy are scrambling to find presents to pile under the Christmas tree.

It’s not always as simple as it seems.  Kids at different ages have different wants and needs and some ages are a little harder to shop for.

For instance…a 1 year old?  They likely haven’t really gotten into characters or shows.  Their vocabulary is limited and while they may be toddling around, they aren’t ready for lots of big toys.  And…toys that have a million little pieces?  Definitely out.  And that’s like 90% of toys that exist!

My own kiddos have recently been one, as have my nieces, and pretty much all my friends kids.  We’re all in that toddler/preschool parenting stage.  I’ve pooled our collective wisdom and assembled this handy dandy guide , with tons of tried and true Christmas gift ideas for 1 year olds!

15 Thanksgiving Teacher Gift Ideas

I don’t know about you, but one of the things I’m MOST thankful for this time of year are my kid’s teachers.

The descent into holiday madness has begun and I swear it only gets crazier from here until New Year’s and so I’m super thankful for the sweet ladies who watch over my kids 9 hours a week so I can have a teeny little break!

If I were rich I’d offer them silver and gold but instead they have to settle for my little Dollar Tree goodie bags.  Still, I like to think these little treats brighten their days and remind them just how very grateful we are for them!

To help us both out, I’ve rounded up a list of 15 of the sweetest and simplest little Thanksgiving gift ideas for teachers.  Be sure to pin this for later so you can send a smile to your child’s teacher at Thanksgiving too!

25 FREE Thanksgiving SVGs

Halloween is over and the house in littered with candy wrappers. Like seriously, I find them everywhere.

Between my husband, kids (and *ahem* maybe myself), there is a too much candy being snuck & consumed.  My daughter even asked for vegetables the other day because she thought she needed some.

That’s why I look forward to Thanksgiving so much. We still get to eat way too much, but there is some reasonable healthiness included in there. I mean, that pumpkin pie is slightly offset by green bean casserole…right?

Anyways,  in addition to being about food,  Thanksgiving means family and friends and even more cute craft projects!  So today I’m rounding up 25 of the cutest FREE Thanksgiving SVGs out there!  Check them out and get crafting!

I love decorating for seasons & holidays.  Something about the simple out of setting out decorations makes me feel all sorts of festive. And despite summer being my bestie, fall quickly grows on me.

Easy & Affordable DIY Halloween Gift for Teachers (with free printable!)

Halloween is the perfect time to give your kid’s teacher a sweet reminder of how thankful you are for all they do.  Seriously y’all.  Teachers work hard, and they deal with your children (and 20+ others)  all day long!

That deserves a lifetime supply of chocolate and alcohol in my humble opinion.

But since plying our teachers with alcohol is probably frowned upon, I settle for a cute treat at holidays, and this year I’ve created these cute little basket of treats and free printable, that will be going to school with my kiddos on Halloween.

Witches Brew Treat Bag *with free printable!*

We all know Halloween is candy overload! I mean, we usually end up with candy for MONTHS! Between school, trunk or treats and grandparents…these girls really rack up!

So this year, I was racking my brain for something non-candy, but fun to send for class treats. So I came up with this sweet little treat bag as an alternative to the typical candy. This may make a *tiny* dent in another kids stash, which is probably a good thing. Unless…you’re the type of parent who sneaks candy from the kids stash in the laundry room at night.  *cough cough*

But seriously, if you want a non traditional treat to hand out at Halloween, or cute treat bag to send with the kiddos  to school on Halloween then check out this witches brew treat bag. I plan to hand these out to my favorite trick or treaters and send them with my girls to preschool!
