Teacher Appreciation Week is approaching and let’s be real…teachers deserve ALL the gifts.
I don’t have to tell you how difficult this pandemic has been for parents, but can you imagine being a teacher right now?
So for this fist week of May, we really need to pull out all the stops and shower them with love! Luckily for you, it doesn’t have to add more to your probably pretty full plate. I’ve created some gift sets teachers are sure to love, and even made you some pretty printables for FREE!
I’ve shared lots of teacher appreciation gift ideas before, but this year I wanted to challenge myself to come up with something new and different. I saw the new home items release from Matilda Jane Clothing and was inspired to create a series of gift tags.
As I’ve mentioned before I own my own Matilda Jane boutique. I just knew my customers would jump at the chance to score these pretties, because they are perfect teacher appreciation gift!
MJ’s prints and designs are featured in each of these pretty gift tags, and they coordinate with our home accessories perfectly!
Best of all, these are still well stocked on our site and able to grab for your favorite teachers! Most of them come in sets of two, which makes gifting even easier. They are also super affordable!
Of course you don’t have to use Matilda Jane items with these super cute tags. They would look adorable with practically anything. I’m that Mama that likes to coordinate everything though, so these worked perfectly for me!
I’ve linked some details and the FREE printables down below! Check them all out and be sure to save them for later! You’re going to want to use these year after year!
1. TEACHER APPRECIATION BAKING SET GIFT
In the past I’ve gifted teachers baking sets. I even have another post with free SVG cut files I used to DIY these gifts a few years back.
This year, I’m keeping it simple with a cute gift tag and a sweet baking set.
I created two designs for this. One says, “Thanks for making me one smart cookie.” I simply combined a kitchen towel, cookie mix, and spatula for this gift. I tied them up with a ribbon and slipped them in a cellophane bag where I added the tag. Who wouldn’t love this sweet gift?
Like I mentioned earlier, for my teacher appreciation gifts this year, I’m using Matilda Jane home accessories. This past release included a set of two gorgeous kitchen towels. I used the first for a cookie set, and the second for this fun little “Trying to score brownie points,” set.
I can’t decide which like better! Luckily for you, you don’t have to! You can grab them both free here.
2. COFFEE GIFT SET FOR TEACHER APPRECIATION
I have a lot of teacher friends. One common interest they all usually share is coffee. Like mass quantities of coffee.
I myself appreciate a hit of caffeine from my Diet Dr. Peppers, but in the education profession, I’m an outlier.
You try working with a room of twenty 7 year olds all day without caffeine and you’ll figure out why REAL quick!
So when searching for the perfect teacher appreciation gift, the answer is usually pretty simple. IV poles with caffeine drips aren’t mass produced (or maybe even legal) yet, so the second best gift idea is a cute coffee mug and a Starbucks gift card.
For a little extra fun I added a super yummy Hottess coffee cake, a Starbucks gift card and some Hershey’s kisses.
My Matilda Jane mugs came in a set of two, so again, I had two super cute options. I noticed after this, that they weren’t really specific to education, which made me love them even more because I can use them in soooo many situations!
Quick thank you gift for a gymnastics coach? Surprise show of gratitude for a friend? Treat in the mail box for the mail lady? Done, done and DONE.
Grab this free printable here. And be sure to pin this one because you’re going to want to use it over and over again!
3. TEACHER APPRECIATION WINE GLASS
While caffeine is perhaps essential for teachers, alcohol is probably a close 2nd. Some days you just need to unwind with a nice glass of wine.
Like the tag says, “because teachers can’t live on apples alone!”
For this teacher appreciation gift, I paired a beautiful Matilda Jane wine tumbler with a small bottle of Moscato. I also added a bag of mixed nuts and some Hershey’s kisses for a fun snack! Grab the free printable here.
4. TEACHER APPRECIATION TUMBLER GIFT
Here’s another fun one involving favorite beverages!
I adore this tumbler from Matilda Jane. I plan to use mine to hold lottts of pina coladas this summer. I suspect most teachers would like to do the same!
Whether it’s holding a pina colada by the pool or a cold glass of water at a soccer game, a tumbler is such a useful gift!
I kept this gift simple and stuffed it with Hershey’s Kisses for a fun surprise!
The tag simply says, “sip sip hooray, you have survived another school day.” An impressive task at this time of year for any teacher! You can download it here.
5. TEACHER APPRECIATION GIFT POUCH
Another fun gift idea all teachers can use is a fun little bag/pouch. Matilda Jane released an AMAZING set of swim pouches that make the perfect gift. They come in sets of three so you can split them however you want (or keep the whole set if you’re like me!)
With these being so adorable-ly summer themed and the end of the year fast approaching, I decided to stick with the summer thing for this next teacher appreciation gift idea.
I grabbed some sunscreen, cute sunglasses and a mini first aid kit for all the summer essentials!
Since the bags came in different designs, I actually created two different printables to go with this one.
You could also gift these as a make-up bag and include fun goodies like a strip of nails and basic makeup stapes. Grab both my free tags here.
And there you have it! Five super sweet gifts any teacher is sure to love! It doesn’t get much easier!
Like I said, if Matilda Jane’s not your thing, these adorable tags work with anything. But if it is, be sure to check out my site and join my VIP group! Mention you’re coming to me from my blog and get $10 off your first order of $50 or more!
