Spring is in the air and that means the end of the school year is creeping up on us.
Summer break has 2 definitions: ‘A teacher holiday dedicated to the multitude of teacher veterans who survived yet another school year’ or ‘A break from school designed to torture parents.”
For teachers it is a long awaited reward at the end of a trying year. For parents, it’s a reminder just how thankful we are for those teachers who put up with our kids for 180 days.
As a former teacher, who survived over decade of end of the school years, I want to let my kids teachers know how truly they are appreciated. So we send a gift every day they are in school that week.
I love to add a DIY touch to our gifts and so I’ve been busy prowling Pinterest in search of some of the cutest DIY Teacher Appreciation gifts out there! I’ve rounded them all up and created one sweet little post full of awesome crafts your child’s teacher is sure to appreciate!

Before | After School Set
This sweet little set is one of my favorites! I had a customer request something similar last year and created my own design. If you look closely, you’ll notice the apple is half eaten and the ruler is broken in the after school wine glass. Why?
Because kids.
Your teacher is bound to get a kick out of these! You can pick up both the mug and the wine glass at the Dollar Tree too! Be sure to grab my free SVG here.
2. Teachers Make a Difference
This was a really simple DIY. I got this clear clipboard from Amazon and designed this sweet SVG to decorate it.
This was a pretty easy vinyl project. I did reverse it, so it would go on the underside of the clipboard. I didn’t want the surface are that would be used for writing to be bumpy. If you’re looking for tips for cutting vinyl, be sure to check out this post.
Using multiple colors makes it a little trickier than easy, but it’s still a super quick project! I love this so much I’ve decided I’ll be using it in my own classroom next year!
You can grab my free SVG here.
